LEGAL HOLIDAYS IN 2017

We are hereby sending you a summary of the legal holidays in 2017, in accordance with the provisions of the Labour Code.
Thus, aside from January 1st and 2nd, which have already passed, the legal holidays in 2017 are the following:

• The Celebration of the Union of the Romanian Principalities, namely Tuesday, January 24;

• The first two Easter days, namely Sunday, April 16 and Monday, April 17;

• The International Labour Day, which is on Monday, May 1;

• Children’s Day, which is celebrated on Thursday, June 1;

• The first two Pentecost days, namely Sunday, June 4 and Monday, June 5;

• The Feast of the Ascension: Tuesday, August 15;

• Saint Andrew: Thursday, November 30;

• The National Day of Romania: Friday, December 1;

• The first two Christmas days, namely Monday, December 25, and Tuesday, December 26, 2017.
