Mrs. Dana GRUIA DUFAUT, founder of the GRUIA DUFAUT Law Office, was awarded for her contribution to real estate law, granted by the Legal Magazin magazine at the 1st edition of the Lady Lawyer Gala, organized on October 24 in Bucharest.
At this event, which is a first in terms of events dedicated to business law, a jury awarded women lawyers who succeeded in this profession throughout the years, proving exceptional vision, innovation and professional rigor in specific legal domains.
The jury also granted three special awards for excellence in Management, Leadership and Mentorship, as well as for the following sections : litigations, national and international arbitration, finance – banks, capital market, mergers and acquisitions / commercial and corporate law, competition law, State aids, energy and natural resources, insolvency / restructuring, PPPs / public procurement / infrastructure, tax and fiscal rules, IT&C, labor law, criminal business law, intellectual property law, human rights / ECHR, medical law / pharma.
Mrs. Dana GRUIA DUFAUT is a strong presence in business law in Romania; she has been actively involved, since 1991, in numerous legal projects in this country. Member of the Paris and Bucharest Bar Associations, Mrs. GRUIA DUFAUT has a solid experience in business law, private international law, mergers and acquisitions, real estate law, arbitration and litigations, providing counselling and legal assistance to many large multinational companies, as well as to SMEs investing in Romania or in other Eastern European countries.
The jury was composed by Mr. Mihai Acsinte (Chief Legal Office, Groupe Renault Roumanie), Mr. Flavius Baias (Dean of the Law Faculty of the Bucharest University), Mrs. Daniela Lulache (General Manager at Nuclearelectrica), Mrs. Gabriela Fierbinţeanu (Unique Office Head of Service at the National Trade Registry Office), Mrs. Roxana Wring (President of the ProDoMo Association), Mr. Daniel Grigoroiu-Norocel (President of the Board of Directors, General Manager of Romtehnica).
